THE END OF FROSTBITE

A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU

A Thousand Piece of You is the first book in the Redbird series by Claudia Gray.

I can't remember how I came across this book but I did, and it got me really excited. These days, I find it really refreshing to find a book that doesn't involve werewolves or vampires. Now that the Twilight craze is over, I have no interest in these creatures at all.

I can't believe I just said that...

I remember a time where all I wanted was to read books about vampires and werewolves. Twilight had me hung up badly on these creatures. I turned to books like Dinner with a Vampire and the Vampire Academy for a fix.

But after reading Vampire Academy, I was hooked for life. I forgot completely about Twilight. It was that vampires that got me interested but in the end, it was the amazing and witty characters that stole my heart. I became an instant Richelle Mead fan.

After my need for vampire books died out, I started reading other stuff, which led me to read The Mediator series by Meg Cabot. And that's when I started obsessing about ghosts. Reading this, you probably think I'm crazy. Who the hell obsesses about ghosts, right? But before you write me off as completely insane, just read the book. I can say with absolute certainty, you will understand my craze for the sexy Jesse De Silva. The hot Spanish ghost that haunts the main character Suze's bedroom.

Anyway, back to A Thousand...

When I read the Synopsis, it came off as really sciency.  A world with science is a world full of endless possibilities, which I personally find pretty darn awesome! Who doesn't want to time travel? or hop over to a parallel universe and check the other you out. That's my cup of tea right there. But if there's no romance, I'm out. There's Paul, who I think could be a possible love interest for the main character but he's wanted for the death of her father. So, there might be a slight problem with that, yeah know.

THE MEDIATOR SERIES

I'm stunned.

After I recently read some news concerning this series, I went and searched for it on Facebook. I was really surprised to see how very little likes it has. 11,872 likes is just really upsetting. This book is brilliant and deserves a hell lot more likes than this.

I must do something about this -_-

On to other news, I am happy to announce that the 7th book in this series is in the works. I loved the ending of this series but the fact that it was coming to an end pretty much sucked. But thankfully it sucks not anymore. I can't wait to bury myself in the lives of my two favorite book characters; Suze Simon and Jesse De Silva.

What's it about?

Okay, so Suze Simon is a Mediator. She sees ghosts and they won't leave her alone. When Suze moves to California to live with her mom, step-dad and step-brothers, she's determined to put everything behind her and start fresh. But then she meets Jesse De Silva, who is the hot Spanish ghost haunting her bedroom.

That's all I'm going to say, I'd go find a copy if I were you.

If you're into ghost, haunted houses, cemeteries and exorcism, you will love this series!

JENS BIG SURPRISE

If you've read White Hot Kiss, you are going to go absolutely mad over this news. Click here for the big news!

In case you haven't read or heard of White Hot Kiss, I'll fill you in.

So, White Hot Kiss follows Layla, who just wants to be normal and be able to date Zayne, who she's known for almost forever. But clearly she's wishing for the impossible. Not only does Zayne treat her like a sister, he also happens to be a Gargoyle. And so is she... Well, half gargoyle anyway and... half demon. Trouble stirs up in this phenomenal book as she meets the sexy demon Roth and learns more about where she comes from.

This is the first book out in The Dark Elements series. If you'd like to know a little more, click here.

Stone Cold Touch, the second book in the series will be out October 2014.

FROSTBITE ANYONE?

THE RUBY CIRCLE

THIS JUST IN...

That's right guys, its here! After an incredibly long wait, we finally get to see The Ruby Circle cover. The book itself comes out February 10, 2015. That's like more than a few months away but I have faith that it will be worth the wait. Richelle Mead never disappoints.

If you have not heard of the Bloodlines series, which I think is unlikely, click here.

And in case you haven't heard of the Vampire Academy series, which is highly recommended before you start the Bloodlines series, click here.

I recently finished reading the Silver Shadows and at the risk of getting sent to an re-education center for saying this, I did not like the ending at all. It was too rushed and dramatic for me. I love Sydrian but this is so not where I had imagined them heading. I read a few reviews and it seems like everyone is content with the ending. So it must just be me, which makes me feel like a total debbie downer. But I can't help it.

Though I have a feeling Richelle Mead has something up her sleeve for the Ruby Circle. Every time I finish one of her books, I find myself sitting there like an idiot with my jaw sweeping the floor.

Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

BOOK COVER POTENTIAL?

I took this while I was touring around town. In fact, I took tons of pics but for some reason I just fell in love with this one. I couldn't help but think how great of a book cover this would make. All I see is beauty, pain, and love. One summer, that hits two lives by storm. I actually think this would make a great Simone Elkeles book cover.

It could use some editing of course but I think it has some serious potential.

I keep hoping that if I look at it just long enough, I'll magically conjure up a picture-perfect story and I'll finally be able to write something worthy enough that could use this as a cover.

Yeah right, keep on dreaming.

What do you guys see when you look at this?
